This is just too sad for words:

NEW HARTFORD - Richard L. Calder, III, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at a time to be announced in his full obituary to be published Monday, Feb. 7. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery, New Hartford with full military honors. Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Immaculate Conception Church, New Hartford from 6 to 8 p.m Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford has care of the arrangements.
