The Plymouth WPCA just increased their fees to their users to pay for a bond for a garage and prefabricated building for the WPCA. The fee increase was to their users (resident and commercial users of sewer and water) not their residents that have septic and wells. Their town officials confirm, you can’t bill sewer and water WPCA customers for the residents and commercial business that install and maintain their own septic and wells, therefore, you cannot have non WPCA users pay for sewer and water they don’t use. The baloney about business will come if you build it is all baloney. Who cares? The ones, who come, will come because they will see value in their business on RT44 or they won’t see it and they will determine on their own if the market is worth them existing on the strip that requires them to pay for sewer and water use. As to David’s issue regarding the schools, tuition and the pay for play for sports. I fully agree with him, it should be pay for play. Student out placements are paid by the BOE, i.e., the taxpayers. Has there been any discussion of taxpayers getting rebates or credit for sending their elementary, middle or high school children to out of town schools or for those doing home schooling?
