Subject: New Hartford BOS Must Clean WPCA House!ž

The Board of Selectmen must dismiss, disband or eliminate the entire WPCA board. This disaster has been going on way too long and the “Hart” of the problem, along with the “Crohn’s” disease must be fixed, replaced and eliminated. These people have been in charge of their own billing rates and connection fees when they feel like it. The wastewater treatment plant is in complete disarray because of the lack of management, lack of proper billing, connection fees and proper running of the municipality. They had 6 years to get it right and they have blown every chance including hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. Though the new payment plan was approved by the three boards on Nov 18, the referendum still needs to be held in January. The selectmen know the people in town want this WPCA board removed and until the selectmen dissolve the entire WPCA board, eliminating the conflict of interest, i.e., sewer users running the operation, setting their own fees and charges, the new vote is a NO GO! The BOS must replace the entire board with business-minded non-water and sewer users…until then, this must be a NO VOTE repeatedly. Until it is public that, the WPCA board is officially removed and publicly announced of new leadership and management, VOTE NO!
