I am a little confused by what you mean by "Survey." From your context I think you mean "Opinion Poll."

If you are talking about opinion polls done in 2003, then I remind you that it is now 2008. Even if those were the opinions in 2003, I can guanantee you after 5 years of space cadet tomfoolery, this town is in no mood for any more of it. You can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Also, I doubt that everyone in the entire town participated in the phone survey. I know that I didn't.

We now are in a recession. We are facing major expenditures that the town cannot afford. We need every penny, and we cannot afford to fund the agenda of a bunch of spoiled rich Yuppies who thenselves eventually want to get paid for keeping their own property.

Open Space is a fraud. If you are the David Jones who said that anyone who can't afford $15 a year is going to go bankrupt anyway, so we shouldn't consider them, then then you are an example of the kind of person this town does not need to be spending our money. And I also believe, if you are that person, that you were one of the most obnoxious hecklers at that Selectmen's meeting.
