Watching the chatter and can't help but respond.

As I recall there was an EDC funded phone opinion survey around the 2002 2003 time frame. The survey was not the best and had problems. It was, to say the least, statisticaly (sp) lacking.
The questions were based on Economic Development issues (of course) and the results, due to costs, timing, and content, recieved little, if any attention.

To my recollection the issues surounding Open Space were not addressed, but I could be wrong.
I do recall, as a member of the then BOS, not recieving a call at my home. But that could have been to exclude those with stated positions.

To that extent I am unsure as to weather or not the question has been posed to the greater public exclusive of a deal. However, I would encourage this deal be put to referendum and disposed of one way or another.

The Farm deal is, and has been, a troubled effort. The Town has provided for Open Space and needs to focus on other matters more pressing.
