Subject: Total Devistation in New Hartford

I drove to my office in Hartford this morning, and I have never seen such total devistation.

I realize most people in New Hartford will not be able to read this because, like me, you have no electricity. Hartford does have power, but as far as I can tell, nothing on the other side of Avon Mountain has power.

I went down 202, despite the ROAD CLOSED SIGN. There must have been hundreds of trees down. Power lines were across the road. It was like a combat zone.

Once on 44 out of New Hartford it was much better, but still devistation. No power as far as I could see until West Hartford. From what I saw, I doubt we will have power for a week.
