The town meeting on the teacher’s contracts is most likely Bills last big event. You have to give Bill Baxter credit this took guts to bring this contract to a town vote, and later square of with the NEA. Bill laid it out plain and straight his position and reasoning for the rejection. I guess there is a lesson in this for everybody. For those who think this contract agreement was a great loss, fear not the NEA got the message last night. The rejection by the BOF and the BOS along with the bad press from the WRA editor surely left its mark
We must now lay the ground work so that all teachers’ contracts from this day forward go before the legislative body for a vote.
