Subject: Cheers Paul for Sandy Rass interview on Mike Stock site- this is one talented guy . Click here to read.

Since he wrote his first tune on the Violin at the age of 8, Sandy has never looked back.
This prolific young writer of both music and lyrics works cross-genre from R&B to Pop, and from Rock to Dance.

Having had extensive vocal training during his three years at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy in London, alongside Martine McCutcheon, Louise and Kelle from Eternal, and playing leading roles in various theatrical productions in the West End and on tour around the UK, Sandy took the role of Featured Vocalist on the Smash Hits Roadshow, fronting the internationally successful chart band REEL 2 REAL (I Like To Move It, Jazz It Up).

With his immense 5 octave range he comfortably hits notes that leave the best male artists struggling, his richly textured harmonies working to perfection, and his versatility as an artist taking him from lusciously smooth and soulful ballads, to deep R&B, and to truly fresh and instantly likeable pop, whilst always retaining his unique, dynamic and commercial sound.

This young man’s voice must be heard to be believed…

With an immense musical vision, immaculate knowledge of the theory of music and a true spark of creativity, Sandy has already gained sufficient notoriety for his musical skills to be asked to work along side Oscar winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz (Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame for Disney), on a new Pop version of his classic musical Pippin.

As well as co-producing considerable tracks for Faith Entertainments Ltd, Quantum Music, Game Records, Music In Motion Management, and many others, Sandy also now acted as sole Producer, working with a host of talented and promising young artists, including Cherry Miller, Amanda Wilson, Lyric, David Hughes, Julie McKenna and Lisa Gorgin.

As a singer himself, Sandy is in the unique position of being able to offer extensive amounts of vocal coaching and guidance to his clients, always bringing to the surface the full vocal potential within each of them.

As well as solo material for himself, and writing and producing with AmandaWilson, Cherry Miller, David Hughes, Julie McKenna and Lisa Gorgin Sandy headedoff to the Phillipines for a month in 2000, working with Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (the voice of Disney’s Mulan and Princess Jasmine from Aladdin) as Musical Supervisor on Singapore Repertory Theatre’s production of They’re Playing Our SongBy Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager Directed by Steven Dexter
