Yes it has been advertised on ITV1. The problem with an artist like Donna putting out a single CD greatest hits like this is she wont satisfy all her fans. She needed a double album. There are really big hits missed off it. But I too wish she'd put a greatest hits out with the PROPER SINGLES OF Hurt,Change and Breakaway, instead of the dull album ones. b (NT) -- Danny boy, 19 Jun 2004, 20:52:00
On this topic did anyone see Discomania on Saturday (UK ITV1). Donna performed a couple of solo songs and also a fantastic duet with Mark Feehily and the rest of Westlife backing him up. There is no wonder Mike said she had the best voice he worked with- she was as powerful as ever, putting V and Girls Aloud to shame! It was quite a shock to see her though- she's put weight on. my last 'viewing' of her was around 89 when she promoted her SAW singles. (NT) -- Danny boy, 22 Jun 2004, 21:15:22
I dont think Westlife can ever be in as entence with the word CRAP. I've seen them 3 times and they wipe the floor with so many bands. If SAW reformed they could have a field day with Westlife- both ballads and up tempo. (Also just to set the record straight- I wasn't criticising Donna's appearance- she looks great...it was just a surprise after all these years. she used to have an alost eerie presence(seeher album covers). Now she is resonant, warm and big diva-ish. Fantastic all the same. (NT) -- Danny boy, 25 Jun 2004, 21:21:57
Westlife managed to restore my faith in good, honest pop music. You're entitled to your opinion (and I expect lots will agree with you) but I just think they're amazing. Does anyone agree...no...okay then. (NT) -- Danny boy, 26 Jun 2004, 13:25:23
You won't regret buying Turnaround. It gives Mark more of a chance to show off his great voice. The mix of slow/mid/upper tempo songs is great. And I really do believe that the clinical pop production/electronic instrumenation on their tracks is reminiscient of the SAW sound- particularly their ballads. (NT) -- Db, 27 Jun 2004, 13:20:22
Yes. Turnaround for one. The last thing I would ever do is offend SAW. (NT) -- Db, 27 Jun 2004, 17:25:55
