SAW disco was more built up by Jeremy and actually many people from all over the world, just see the recent messages about Sabrina Japanese cd or Sam Fox Dutch, we are learning everyday... I worked more on the PWL part at the time that I did not even have an email address, do you remember all those bloody sheet of paper I sent you ??? Well, the sleeve has an "Additional Prodution and Remix by Phil Harding and Ian Curnow for PWL", but given that it also states that the running time is 4.56 when it is in fact 5.53, I would think this is incorrect. Hi All. Would really like to get an inside the working method of the SAW boys. Did the singers get coached the song and sing it to a rough backing track? Would the lads then belt out the rest of the instrumentation? Or was the track then passed on the our Mixmaster's to add "that sound"? Backing vocals? Were the recordings analog? Following my last post, just got my copy of the IOWBWY CD single out to double check. It contains 4 tracks, track 3 being "I Only Wanna Be With You (extended version) (4.56)". The sleeve says "Marketed and distributed by CNR Records, Weesp/Holland - Brussels/Belgium. Even gave it a spin - it's definitely a traditional PWL mix. Hope that helps! Well if the guys say it appears on a cdsingle, then believe me I am learning EVERY DAY about stuff we did not know then ! I always find amazing after all these years all the things we are only discovering now. Things we thought never made it to cd, etc... At this time I was already collecting PWL stuff, and never was able to catch any extended, all were the house versions, so I guess we have to look for that one now ! So Stephen, you really discovered a GEM !!! Because ALL other releases on cd or even vinyl crediting the extended have the housey version ! There are a wealth of good pop songs on "Body Language" - they're just encased in less accessible productions. "Still Standing" and "Obsession" are my favourite cuts, and I think only "Chocolate" doesn't work. I'm quite pleased that this album is a more coherent whole though, unlike say "Light Years" which was a bit of a mish-mash of styles. To be honest "Body Language" is not a complete flop. Here are some international chart positions: Germany #11, Belgium #10, Sweden #20, Netherlands #19, France #31, Greece #3, Switzerland #20, New Zealand #23. Not her peak sure, but by no means a flop ablum. Also remember Kyles has released this album very close to Xmas, and is competing against lots of Greatest Hits CDs. The Scooch reunion was an absolute triumph. They performed all the singles, plus Maybe Tomorrow, and More Than I Needed To Know again for the encore.
