Subject: The Reynolds Girls Tragedy

I recently posted a message on this website entitled 'Where Are The Reynolds Girls?', as I was searching for their whereabouts with the intention of approaching them for an interview in relation to a television prgramme I am currently working on.

One reply, in particular, was tragic in the extreme and informed me that Linda Reynolds sadly died in childbirth. The reply also claimed that the younger sister, Aisling (Ash-ling), is now a lapdancer (possibly in Blackpool) and has taken over parental responsibilities of Linda's son, Jack.

I can only offer my thanks to the Reynolds Girls fan who replied to my posting but, of course, I wish that it was with happier news. Are there any other RG fans out there who can verify this appallingly tragic story?

Please let me know. Any further information surrounding their lives after 'I'd Rather Jack' and their flirt with fame will be greatly appreciated.

Basically that's the story that has been going around here for a long time. I received an email about 6 years ago from someone called Alan who ran a Reynolds fan club stating this. I have it. I bought it for £6 from the now defunct fanclub. It is a 1998 rerecorded version of the track. A side is I'd Rather Jack (1998 New Version) and B Side is I'd Rather Jack (1998 Jack Mix). Both tracks are produced and mixed by Mark Evans for Reynotone Productions. Cat No RG0298 Basically it's v. amateur (what's new?) but is a great collectors item. Sleeve is just a graphic one.
