In this day and age of high tech, it's easier to send an email or make a call to say thank you, but the following people deserve an old-fashioned personal, hand-written thank you note for their contribution to the forestry pageant system. I hope all county, state and national queens will join me and do the same. Forestry Love, Tess Hammock, 2008 Teen Miss US National Forestry Queen/2009 Teen Miss Georgia Forestry Queen
Howard Bennett Award recipients:
Steve Logan Chief Ranger
Houston County; District 5
2454 Hwy 41 South
Perry , GA 31069
Mark Millirons
Chief Ranger, Bibb County; District 5
1820 Hwy 42 S
Knoxville , GA 31050
Please tell Steve and Mark how much you appreciate all they do to support the forestry pageant and queens all year long. They provide cars for parades, drive a truck to pull floats, bring Smokey Bear for appearances....most of the time they aren't "on the clock" but are doing this as volunteers.

Mike Daniels, Asst Mgr.(Mike was manager who stayed open late after the state pageant.)

Tifton, GA 31794
Please thank them for staying open late after the Georgia Forestry Pageant so we would all have a nice place to have dinner. They went above and beyond and we want them to know we appreciate it so they won’t mind doing it in the future. Also, let the folks at corporate know by filling out a short form at http://www.longhornsteakhouse.com/about/contact.asp
Compliments to corporate are very powerful.
Mrs. Dianne Dominey and Family
201 N. Central Ave.. Suite G,
Tifton, Georgia 31794
Most people don’t know how hard Mrs. Dianne and her whole family work to produce the Georgia Forestry pageant. It is the oldest and most prestigious scholarship pageant in Georgia. It is five years older than the Miss Georgia pageant! Mrs. Dianne guards the legacy of the forestry pageant well and we appreciate all she does.
See you all at NATIONALS!!! :)
