I will weigh in on this as well. this board is nothing if not a place to discuss issues such as this.
I do think that there comes a time when a series should be put to rest. any series can suffer and become very, very old. While I liked the JB series, there were times, I admit, that I missed a story or felt unfulfilled after reading it. and I still have not read the final installment. I am not sure why. Probably because sometime down the raod I will want to know more about our couple and there is no more at this point.
I also think that there are many series that either never finished or were ended to short. Good topic of discussion, btw.
