Subject: Morning Miss V! How are you today? Sigh...back at work. All of my backup called in sick. And I think my subconscious is nervous about my tennis lesson tonight, because first I forgot my bag in my apartment and had to run after it, and then I forgot it in the car, so I'll have to pick it up over lunch. It's going to be one of those days.

I'm on day 4 of my eating properly, and writing everything down, feel like shit. Just want to throw up all the time and often am sick. So either I feel sick cos i'm hungry, detoxing or pregnant. Option 2 is the prefered answer!!

You'll be fine at the tennis, maybe your subconscious didn't want you to play:0)

Eating properly shouldn't make you feel sick, unless you're doing something like starving yourself. What is it, exactly, that you're eating? Unless, of course, it isn't just the food you're detoxing from, but everything else (booze, drugs, cigarettes).

Though...a pregnancy test wouldn't hurt, just in case.


Since it's a beginners course, tennis should go okay. I mean, everyone there should suck just as much as I will. I think my head's just not on straight yet--not having a Monday seems to be throwing me off.

as for food, I'm eating cereal, skim milk and oj for breakfast, then a large salad with falafel, a couple of new potatoes and all the salady stuff I can fill my face with. For tea I have some sort of WeightWatchers meal, along with fruit and that sort of stuff.

I do tend to be sick in the mornings when I'm erally tired or drink coffee first thing so it could be that.

RE the tennis, I din't realise you were going to classes, I thought you were doing one on one training. Talking of which, my trainer is leaving at the end of the month so I will get my chance to save money for a wee while. I'll jsut have to make sure I'm really motivated.

Sounds like a very healthy plan you've got there. Just looking at it makes me feel hungry and nauseous, LOL. I'm so not into salad right now. I have to be in the right frame of mind for it, and I'm not in a salad phase at the moment.

Yeah, I'm taking classes--twice a week through the end of the month. If I like them, I'll sign up for the next round. If not, I won't--no big deal. But, at least this way I'll learn the proper manner of holding the racquet and hopefully improve my aim.

Austin City Limits music festival is in two weeks. Well, less than two weeks. It's so bloody expensive. You can get a three day pass for $80 (plus about $15 in extra fees) or you can get a single day pass for $35 (plus about $15 in extra fees). Don't know if it's worth it. Endochine plays Saturday, as does Modest Mouse. Guy Forsyth, Cake, and Calexico are playing Sunday. Franz Ferdinand plays Friday, as does Bob Schneider (local Austin artist), but I'll be at work, damnit, unless I take the day off. Oh, and The Killers play Friday also. Damnit. I may take half a day off.

It sounds like a great weekend and although it sounds a lot but sometimes you gotta do things and take the consequences later (as we know)

over here it would be more like $212 for 2 days, total rip off imho
