Subject: Morning Miss V! Woke to rain today, but I don't think it'll last long. Can't wait to hear what your trainer says--he's really going to put you to work! And you shouldn't have gotten me anything! (But I'm all excited and curious now.)

So I didn't have to wait long until my downstairs neighbors kept me up again--they went on till way past two last night. Shit like that really pisses me off. They were shouting and talking and drinking and slamming doors and running up and down the parking lot--no consideration for others. So I got up this morning, threw on Dirty Sweet, cranked it up, and put it on repeat. There's nothing worse than being woken up early in the morning by rock music, except being kept awake by the same four songs playing over and over and over again. I feel better. Tired, but satisfied. I just hope it worked.
