Subject: Morning Miss V! I feel like death warmed over myself....
In reply to: vx 's message, "Morning MIss D, I'm totally knackered and didn't even do anything interesting last night!" on 08:50:26 08/16/04 Mon

Got this headache Saturday night around seven--I figured I was just dehydrated so I drank a bunch of water, but it just kept getting worse. I was supposed to go to a show, but it was sold-out, damnit, so I went home. Probably a good thing, too, since the headache didn't leave. I took some Tylenol PM for it, but that didn't help. Woke up Sunday and had to be careful not to move my head too fast. Took aspirin throughout the day, but it never really went away. It's still there in the back of my head, aching the way your calf aches after a leg cramp, so I've taken some more aspirin, but I don't know if it'll work. And I put too much sugar in my coffee, so it's really gross, but I think I need the caffeine--I don't know if caffeine withdrawal helped to cause my headache or not, but I'm not taking any chances. Ugh...

Glad you had a pretty decent weekend, despite sleeping with the living dead. Sucks to be back at work, doesn't it?

[> [> poor you, that sounds really serious, maybe you should get it looked at. It could be caffeine withdrawal as you say, I nkow that general detoxing gives headaches. so how is the coffee thing going, slowly cutting down? The caffeine could also affect your sleep patterns -- vx, 09:30:20 08/16/04 Mon

I've been drinking about 16 oz of coffee every morning, so it's cutting back from my espresso drinks and from the four to five big cups I used to have at the old place--not to mention the complete lack of soda now as opposed to a couple of cans every afternoon. I suppose it could be caffeine withdrawal, but I'm not sure. Sometimes I do get headaches like this, but usually not this bad and aspirin usually takes care of them. Weird.

[> [> [> [> [> ROFLMAO--that's so grade school! They should add a couple of boxes at the end--check one for yes, the other for no. But yeah, definitely tell Pete. ;) So Paramount is in the same building with you? Are all the companies just grouped together there? -- Dhvana, 10:00:22 08/16/04 Mon

I'm still waiting to catch up on my bills before I can get any mailing done--this is the saddest thing in the world, it really is. I have so got to get my shit together. Anyway, yay! QaF! Brian!!! -- Dhvana, 10:24:29 08/16/04 Mon

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> i presume they have offices worldwide. This is our building and we rent the space to the partners. We are actually the world wide HQ, so there are offices in all the territories that report back to us. Of course having HQ and the UK offices in London gets confusing cos we end up getting each others bills n stuff. god its absolutely chucking it down with rain again -- vx, 10:36:53 08/16/04 Mon

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Ick, rain bad. Our "cold front" is finally finished going through, so it's going to get hot here again. Darnit. Not that it's been exactly cool, but it isn't bad. The humidity's been practically non-existent. So fricken braindead here. I'm so glad my attorneys are pretty much self-sufficient. -- Dhvana, 10:42:03 08/16/04 Mon
