Just got a speeding ticket--82 in a 65 zone, though he knocked it down to 75--nice guy. Otherwise, it would have cost me another $50. I think I'll just pay it. It's easier, it's the first ticket I've gotten in four years, so it really isn't anything too bad. Plus, it's less hassle. Good thing they can charge it to a credit card, because otherwise, I don't know how I'd afford $150. We can take defensive driving and get it off our record, but like I said, it's the only one in four years. The price would be the same--the course combined with court costs, and several hours of my life down the drain.

Eh, it was bound to happen eventually. Everyone at my office has gotten one in the past few months. I suppose it was my turn. What pisses me off is that I know that stretch of the highway, I knew he'd be there, I just didn't think about it in time.
