As for Laebeth, is she just wanting to bum around and get a bit of spending money or is she after a 'proper job'? People usually do bar work or hotel work and quite often you can live in. There are loads of hostels and places that are cheep for travellers. A good site is www.gumtree.com, its mainly Aussies but you can get all sorts of stuff there - including flat shares jobs, concert tickets...............
I'll ask some travelling mates for clues.

She's been trying temp agencies, but since she doesn't have any experience, they've turned her down. She's got the skills, just not the experience. However, if I were her, I'd take anything, and I think she's starting to realize that.

Cor, this week at work is going well, champagne reception yesterday for the whole staff, cos VH is the biggest opening for UIP ever ( not taking in account inflation) see what happens next week!
