Subject: America is in desperate need of Godly leadership.

It's time to pray and cry out to God for the coming election. Will you join me?

I've had a burden for the state of our nation for a while. Because this is a pivotal election year, I am more concerned than ever before.

America is in serious trouble . . . but it's not because of the economy.

Headlines about gas prices and the job market don't frighten me as much as the recent news story about how the California Supreme Court opened the door to same-sex marriage in the state.

It's a symptom of our nation's crumbling spiritual and moral foundation.

God's Word asks, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3 NKJV).

Sexual perversion, immorality and a lack of values in America's leadership threaten the future of our nation. I don't want my children and yours growing up in a faithless culture.

So, what can the righteous do? PRAY AND FAST.

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV).

Not only do we have a responsibility to fast and pray for our leaders, but as Americans we also have the right to help elect our leaders.

The vote for leadership this fall is critical. We don't need a leader who follows the wind of popular culture, but one who will hold to the great foundations of this nation.

We need a Godly leader who will fight for the core issues of life and family!

I want to encourage you to prayerfully vote for the candidate who most reflects Godly character. The next leader of our nation will not only impact our lives today, but will also affect future generations.

More than anything, America needs Godly leaders. Join me in prayer and fasting for the coming presidential election.
