Obviously you still don't know that there are FOUR official gospels, plus at least one more that Paul of Tarsus mentioned that existed in his days, long before any of the four official ones existed. Ask your local librarian for them! You have lots to learn.

The books of Mark 16 and 1 Corinthians 12 reminds us of the holy gifts we have. It is in no way limited to the believers of the first century church. It exists in the here and now as millions of believers can testify on that. Your "gospel" is dead and lifeless because you reject the power of God existing in miracles today. But the Gospel of Christ is very much alive and well as is Christ the Lord. But actually I think you're here just to stir up an argument.

Obviously, somebody is afraid of librarians, and apparently cannot possibly permit librarians to inform him or her that there are actually FOUR, not just ONE, authorized gospels.
..... If it is true that God even today is alive and well and has a "hand" in miracles, then it is also true that God is quite free to communicate with anyone, even with current writers, and can, if God wants to, without needing the prior permission of clerics to do so, revise, or even declare ancient writings and their translations to be cancelled and superseded by God's more recent communications. Thus, maybe, all of the gospels are no longer valid in the 21st century, nor are many other religious writings.

If you had sense enough to actually go inside of the library rather than pronouncing the word only, a fool like you would know that you canot limit God to pagan and God hating teachings! It takes more than a library of books to do that!

the gospel that Paul wrote of was the gospel of Jesus, the gospels in the bible, matt, mark luke and john are also taking about Jesus.yes there is one gospel, one good news because Jesus is the good news, the gospel. i don't see where the aurgument can be?

Long before Paul came about the Gospel WAS WRITTEN! How could the Gospel had been proclaimed through Paul before the other diciples when he used to persecute the church? (Acts 22:5-7), 1 Timothy 13:-19) The Pentecostal movement in the book of Acts 2. The miracles of Jesus in the 4 books of the New Testament was done far before Paul came into the picture. How could it happen AFTER Paul. How could Paul witness the Gospel BEFORE Jesus and the diciples? You are a crazy pagan nut with nothing better to do but start an argument here.

There are four "official" gospels. They were written many years after Paul wrote his letters.
... But Paul mentioned "a" gospel, which couldn't possibly have been any of the four "official" gospels.

The 4 gospels were written anonymously (without an author's name attached), but later the names of disciples/apostles were attached to these gospels; there were many people called John. Of importance is not who wrote what, but what was it that Jesus taught and wanted, and to what extent those who SAY that they are "actually" following Jesus, NOW in the 21st century, actually do so.

How wrong you are! God, the father of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob does NOT need to add any name on the Bible. John was the son of Zebedee as in the book of Matthew. The 1st Chapter of Matthew shows the ancestry of Jesus all the way back to Adam. Even if the Bible did mention last names, skeptics would still claim they were made up amd make up other excuses not to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What was written about in the 4 Gospel was spread by word of mouth in the begining. It was later written down on scrolls. Luke was not even one of the original disciples.
The Bible does say if you call another an idiot, you are in danger of hellfire. That is one of the teachings of Jesus.
When I come upon stuff like this coming form the mouth of professing christians, it make me feel ashame to be called one. All of you need to study a little more at the foot of Christ before you getting on the net and spouting your hate filled words. Jesus would NEVER have spoken to a fellow human being in such an ugly manner. No wonder that so many young people now-a-day feel the Christian coummnity is something to avoid and are turning more and more to pagan and New Age teaching. A sister in Christ
