Engine Idle -- Eric, 15:44:37 09/14/04 Tue

I'm relatively new to racing of this kind, so I was hoping that someone could end an arguement I'm having with some friends about why a Fuel Altered idles the way that it does. No one answer jives with any other. The promods and fuel altereds have to be the coolest race cars ever, but there aren't too many here in Wiscaonsin that I know of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[> Give me a chance -- Jack Cooper, 12:09:39 04/13/02 Sat

I’m looking to break into racing and here you’ve giving me my chance, I own a towing company but have no problem dropping it to go racing. You do not know what you got until you try me. In addition, I have 15 years around speed and auto repair seeing my parents and I also own a auto repair shop and not a mom and pop shop so there is automotive and speed experience here. Don’t get me wrong there’s always something I can learn every day I do. I have no problem following directions and doing whatever I have to do to fit in and get things done. All I’m asking is to call and talk with me and let me sell myself.

Thank you,

Well , I didn't get my way with the Lenco for Conrad's car but who knows .... if he breaks any more input shafts he may change his mind !!! ( Wolf seems to think that a Lenco is too much trouble between rounds ... don't want to interfere with the beer and bar-b-que )LOL !!! The motor for the Lumina is still in Tennesee and is supposed to be ready at the end of next week . I can't wait to see how the Lumina is going to react with this new motor . I may be watching with one eye closed !!! LOL !!! I can't wait to see everybody agian and I hope it's a safe racing season for all !!!

Altereds vs Promod in Sealy -- Chris Graves, 11:56:43 01/14/02 Mon

Promods get ready, the Outlaw Fuel Altereds are coming to Lone Star Raceway April 5th.

The final will be quick altered vs quick promod.

Mitch King in the "Bone Bucket" ran 4.10 last year at Sealy to be the quickest altered, but lost in the final.

We will see who has the baddest hot rods in the south!

Altereds or Promods?

That will be a cute race, 2600lbs Pro Mods vs 1800lbs Alterds don't seem right but I bet our Pro Mods will still be a treat. You guys are lucky that our Pro Mod guys don't have their power in a Buggy are yall would see 350's not 410's oh yea our guys don't have nitro damn this keeps getting worse but if yall insist come on! One thing you alterd guys need to do is make a rule saying that 2 Pro Mods can't be the 2 fastest so that at least 1 alterd can make 3 passes...

[> [> HOPE NOT -- OK, 21:02:43 01/14/02 Mon

IF THEY MAKE THE RULE THAT ONE ALTERD AND ONE PRO MOD GOES TO THE FINAL THEN THERE WILL BE NO REASON FOR THE PRO MODS TO SHOW UP, SO I HOPE THAT RULE IS NOT SO,THE PRO MOD RACES ARE ELIMINATION STYLE SO THEY HAVE WINNERS AND RUNNER UP'S THE ALTERDS DON'T

Ok .... so how does this work ??? Whats the ladder like and what's the payout ??? How do you know for sure that a fuel car and a pro-mod will be in the finals ??? If this is how it's gonna be then why don't we have a Q-8 in each class and then have the winner of the two run each other ???It may be a good show and alot of fun but please somebody give some more details !!!!!! Thanks ......

Not sure how this is supposed to work, I hope they take the fastest 8 cars and run them don't cut no slack for the alterds let them race elimnation style like everyone is used to, all the fans and doorslammers are heads up racers if we go chicago style then you take out holeshot wins and add nothing you also take out 2 rounds of racing, It states on the Outlaw Fuel Alterd board we are here to put on a show so lets do that.

[> [> [> Outlaws Benefits -- Chris Graves, 12:42:42 01/19/02 Sat

Hey I'm not trying to start a rivalry, but since people started defending their cars ( I guess they are scared they might loose so they are already giving excuses ) I will point out that you promods with 700 cubic in engines and fancy four link and strut suspensions and aerodynamic bodies with tons of ground force should be just fine against our little 1923 model T Fords with solid mounted front and rear ends. Outlaws do it with tires and motor.

All I can say is I cant wait!
In case anyone wants to know who I am, I am the punk kid who will be taking the pictures trackside in Sealy.

How can you say someone might be scared when ya'll won't dare show without NITRO,LITE CHASSIS,FUEL TIRES,and anyone with common sense knows that solid suspenion is faster thats why the rules state you cannot run solid rear in Pro Mod but that don't matter were here to race so bring on them dune buggy's lets qualify the fastest 8 or 16 and lets race oh yea' ya'll can weigh 1200lbs we won't cry so ya'll dont,,,,,Time To Have Some Fun.....

3.80's possible 3.70's impossible -- Danny White, 05:08:11 12/13/01 Thu

There was a message talikg about the possiblities of going 3.80's. When Bill Kuhlmann ran 6.00 on his run in 2000
his 1/8 mile times was 3.90. Peter Kapris from Austraila ran a 6.07 in Top Doorslammer action the second quickest doorslammer in history. Kapris' times in the 1/8 was a 3.94. The 3 second eighth times both on eighth miles and progressive quarter mile are still rare. I would say it is between `15-20 racers who have 3 second slip now and most of those are progressive times.

Thats very possible for that car because there has been low 4,s with the alcohol cars, That car had the track record at Sealy for a little while I think a alcohol car has it now but that Nitro car should make a whole lot more power so if they can tune it they will be fast, but don't think that the other guys are gonna make it easy their trying for 3.90's also......Can't wait till next year sounds like some good racing.

[> Lenco -- Kathy, 15:36:11 12/04/01 Tue

I'm still pushing for the Lenco for Conrad's car but I don't know for sure if it will happen . It would be so much easier to put one in his car being that the car has had a Lenco in it before . I've bitched about it for years now so maybe it will pay off . The only thing changing in Hugo's car is the motor . Not real sure of the details on the motor but I do know that it's a Donovan block . Who knows .... maybe I can talk Wolf into atleast getting a Bruno for the Lumina !!!

4 teens, now hold on there. I am hoping for high 4.20's. The car does have the 706 in it and it has been fired. It sounds sweet (not like a sissy huffer). The new Ram triple disc clutch has also been installed. I am currently waiting on the new lenco 4 speed. Please note that these statements are facts and not rumors.
Here are a few more facts:
If I was going to get blown, it would be done at home by the pool or in the hot tub. Getting blown in a car is so high school. Written like a true Agitator!!!

Happy Holidays, later guys and gals!!!!!!!

Frankie "Mad Man" Taylor Wins final race of the 2001 Season -- Mrs. TBH, 10:01:09 11/14/01 Wed

On November 9th, 20 teams showed up to claim the top 8 positions in the final race of the 2001 season at Texas Raceway. This race was dedicated to “Big” Jim Brooks (a fellow Pro Mod racer) who passed away on November 3rd due to complications of cancer. Gaylen Smith led by 8 points going into this race over Frankie Taylor. These two drivers have alternated between first and second place all season long. It came down to Gaylen needing to stay one round ahead of Frankie and the semi-final round was going to tell the story. Frankie qualified #1 with a 4.14 and Gaylen qualified #5 with a 4.53 which put these two drivers on the same side of the ladder which meant they would meet up in the semi-finals if both cars made it through round one. Well, both cars won the first round but Gaylen’s throttle hung wide open at the top end of the track which bent a pushrod and broke a lifter. He could not get the car ready for the semi’s which gave Frankie a competition bye run into the final round and also the points championship. Frankie is a very competitive racer and did not want to win that way but never the less, he is the 2001 Texas Raceway Points Champion.

Round 1: #4 David Hugo – 4.81 at 119 mph #5 Gaylen Smith (W) 4.25 at 159 mph

#3 Thomas Myers (W) 4.45 at 157 mph
#6 Alfred Whiteside - broke
#2 Nathan Martin – 4.69 at 157 mph
#7 Pat Edwards (W) 4.52 at 154 mph

#1 Frankie Taylor (W) 4.13 at 173 mph
#8 Tommy Adams – 4.63 at 152 mph

Round 2:

#7 Pat Edwards - 4.58 at 155 mph
#3 Thomas Myers (W) 4.52 at 156 mph

#1 Frankie Taylor (W) 4.12 at 171 mph
#5 Gaylen Smith - broke

Round 3:

#1 Frankie Taylor (W) 4.20 at 167 mph
#3 Thomas Myers (RU) 4.42 at 158 mph

Other drivers that did not make the top 8 were: Robert Smith (4.67), Mark Walker (4.71), Ron Muenks (4.73), Bobby Booth (4.77), Conrad Ignasiak (4.90), Joe Baldobino (4.94), Greg Green (4.96), Marty Neely (4.98), Ronnie Niswanger (5.06) Kim Smith (5.18), Chuck Bishop (5.21) and HT Wilson (5.94). I would also like to mention that as a Pro Mod Family, our thoughts and prayers go out to young Madison Jones, daughter of Matt and Amy Jones of the BMF Pro Mod Team. Madison was recently diagnosed with cancer and we want to wish her well in her road to recovery. Looking forward to seeing what 2002 will bring. See you next year.

Douglas Georgia Outlaw Pro Mod Race Saturday -- Gary Stroud, 22:05:38 11/07/01 Wed

Southern Dragway will feature the Nation's Baddest Blown & Nitrous Pro-Modified Doorslammers in "THE 4TH ANNUAL DIXIE PRO MODIFIED ALL STAR FINALS" on Saturday, November 10, 2001. Gates open at 2:30 PM. Time trials are from 3:00-6:30 PM. Pro Mods blast off at 7:00 PM. This will be a day you don't want to miss. Coolers welcome, NO GLASS Please! For more information, call 912.384.7733. Southern Dragway is located 8 miles east of Douglas, GA off GA HWY 158-Then follow the signs
All the drivers of the “Southern Outlaw ProMods”, will hit the track track this Saturday in Douglas, Georgia.

Last weeks race in Holt Florida saw Charles McKays career best 4.06, Mike Neals career best 4.07, and Perry Herrins 4.10. The track in Douglas hooks as hard as any 1/8 mile tracks in the country, and with the right air conditions this could be the race the best of the season as many drivers are digging hard for a 3 second pass. Some say season champ Perry Herrin who has seen a 4.000 career best and a 4.001 earlier this season will be the car that will do it.

Look for many cars to be there fresh off the IHRA season shooting it out for the Big Money the fine folks at Southern Dragway are puting up. Also look for Hugh Scott, and Bil Clanton to be back with a vengeance after last week’s engine problems. Last weeks winner Mike Neal will be there letting it all hang out in the Stroud Racing Studebaker.

This is a race you do not want to miss if you live anywhere close to Douglas. Please stop by the Stroud Racing camp and say hello. My name is Gary Stroud, and Id love to meet as many of my friends from the net as I can.

This is a OPEN race to all ProMods

Win for Stroud Racing !!! -- Gary Stroud, 19:42:04 11/04/01 Sun

November 3rd, 2001

"Southern Outlaw Promods Season Championship Race" in Holt, Florida was good for the Stroud Racing team. First round of qualifying, Mike drove the car to the best E.T. yet (4.07) putting him in the #2 spot behind Charles McKay’s 4.06. First round of eliminations brought on #7 qualifier Ron Stokes. "The Stude" repeated with another 4.07 against Ron’s 4.21. Second round was a bye run (4.12) due to R.E. Smiths mishap with the car stopping in round 1. R.E. was unhurt, but the car just had to much sand in the motor and a busted front end to continue. The finals brought on the season champion, Perry Herrin. Both cars left good, "The Stude" went straight down the track with Perry’s corvette spinning the tires badly in 2nd gear, making him lift, and causing the WIN to go to Mike (4.15). Don Stroud couldn’t express enough, "How great it is to have Mike Neal behind the wheel." The team looks to continue the momentum in Douglas, Georgia next week.

Their daughter is 4 years old. Since I posted this, Javier told us that they found out she has cancer and that she was supposed to start chemo this past Saturday. I don't understand why this or any other disease has to strike kids. It's so hard to swallow. I will update you as I know more. In the meantime, everyone say a prayer for them.

Celeste , I know you have a million things to do but can you please find out where we can send this little girl something ??? She has been on my mind all day !! I agree ... I don't understand why this has to happen to this sweet little girl . I can't relate to any of my kids having this horrible disease but my sister sure can . Alicia's daughter ( Amanda ) had cancer when she was 5 years old and had surgery and did the chemo thing as well . I am proud to say that she is now 16 years old and sporting around in a 1967 camaro !!! Gee .... wonder where she gets that from ??? LOL !!! That just goes to show that these kids are alot stronger than you think ! Hopefully this little story is helpfull to this family during this very trying time .

[> killer transmission -- John Barnes @ BTP Racing, 22:00:17 12/02/01 Sun

My company builds powerglides & th-400 based three speeds for extreme power levels. I have transmissions in top sportsman/top dragster and many blown alky & n2o quick 8 type cars (and a couple of monster trucks in the midwest)
Our top of the line glide is in the "ol' rattler" federal-mogul dragster. This car was retired from A-fuel use a couple of years ago. We changed the BAE "fathead" into a 14-71 blown alky motor & took out the clutch and reverser, replacing them with one of our 'glides. Three seasons of racing (about 75 runs per) later we have broken one input shaft. We freshen the trans each season with soft-parts and clutches/band. Our 1.66 gear set has not been touched. It is hooked to one of our 10.5 spragless converters. incrementel times average .92 (best) to .98 sixty-footers; 4.12@171mph eigths & 6.67@196 quarter mile times. We fatten the high speed so that the motor goes rich to kill off mile an hour, some of the tracks we race at will not tolerate 205+mph trap-speeds. We use our three-speeds in heavy seven second door cars. 7.79@179.4 and 1.18 sixty foot in a 3130lb '75 nova hooked to a 523ci Arias blown alky motor. Do the math, at 180mph with the nova's frontal area we are channeling 1625 crankshaft horsepower through this trans. We have eliminated the breakage prone intermediate sprag totally and use a total of 22 clutches for superior surface area. This trans must be used with one of our torque-converters because of the fluid flow dynamics and torque-multiplication this unit was designed for. Every transmission is dyno-tested and you get a one-year warranty against breakage along with a restall on the converter to exactly match your motor. Each unit is custom built when ordered. We are a relatively small company that does not advertise because the niche we fill is very specialized (blown alcohol BBC & Hemi/ big inch N20). If you are interested, by all means contact me at: Bell Transmission Products, Inc.-BTP Racing 1-701-255-6887 or 1-800-448-7649 P.S.> I do have a fresh Quickor drive unit (Lenco-drive now) and a B&J three speed that is for sale. call me with any questions, I would be glad to help out with info or whatever JJ

damn this board is getting interesting after all. after reading all the post between S and G this pretty much sums it up:

Some guy named Sam bashed hotrod on North Texas Dragways board, and evidently Shelley didn't remove the post or she made a nasty remark to it, and Grant didn't appreciate it? and put in his two cents in defense of hotrod? Damn, this board is getting better than joes (hotrodgossip.com) keep up the good work!! lol.. actually bashing is not good, but Gossip is Killer!

Any more juicy gossip?

Answers for Big Sam -- Grant Hensley, 08:04:40 10/18/01 Thu

Please understand that I have no problem with people speaking their minds as long as they stick to facts and have some sort of basis for their opinions.

Also, please allow me to explain why you talked trash about Hot Rod. When you make false accusations about someone, that is trash talking in its worst form. Here are examples of your trash talk:

1) You basically said that Hot Rod wasn't doing his job as the association Spokesman/President (You are Wrong Big Sam). 2) When you state that Hot Rod should be teching the cars at all the races (That is not his responsibility and you are Wrong Big Sam).
3) When you say it is Hot Rod's responsibility to enforce the Association's rules (It is every member's responsibility to make sure other members follow the rules and again you are dead Wrong Big Sam! Hot Rods role is to convey the rules not enforce them).
4) When you say Hot Rod doesn't return phone calls or answer questions posted on this board (Based on my factual knowledge and first hand experience, your statements are false and you are wrong yet again Big Sam).

Based on all of your false statements, I find it hard to believe that you like Hot Rod. If you are Hot Rod's Friend, he sure as hell doesn't need any friends much less enemies.
The difference between you and I is that when I speak my mind, I stick to facts and have a valid basis for my opinions. I fail to see any basis or factual information when you speak your mind.

As for Pat Edwards, He was picking on a 3000 pound NSCA legal Balkhalf (10.5 slick class) car with his Pro Mod Car. I wasn't talking crap (as you stated) about Pat. I was conveying factual information that had a sound basis. Please inform me of any untrue statements I made. I bet you can't think of one!

As for meeting you, let me be clear in saying that we started out on the wrong foot. Maybe after reading this post you will understand that I don't appreciate or care to associate with people that operate like you do. Let's just say that our views of the world do not agree. I already know enough Jacklegs in this world without needing to meet another.

Please feel free to reply and explain the basis for your behaviour if you can. In any case, at least you know my views and the basis for my statements.

TOPMA -- HOT ROD, 15:17:46 10/17/01 Wed

WELL I'VE BEEN THE SUBJUCT OF BASHING FOR WHAT EVER THE REASON. LET ME SAY THIS.. I AM ONE OF THE FEW WHO HAS TRIED TO HELP ALL THE PROMODS BENEFIT FROM THIS ASSOCIATION AS MUCH POSSIBLE. THIS YEAR WITH THE HELP FROM ALOT OF OTHERS SUCH AS MRS.TBH , GRANT HENSLEY , GAYLEN, CHUCK BISHOP , AND ALL THE OTHERS WHO HAVE SUPPORTED THE TOPMA. I FEEL WE HAVE MADE GOOD ADVANCES IN THE QUALITY OF THE SHOWS AND THE PAYOUTS. THIS PROMOD BOARD WAS AN IDEA I HAD FOR THE PROMOD TEAMS TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH WHAT WAS GOING ON. THIS BOARD IS A TOOL FOR ANYONE TO USE TO FOR THIER ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEAMS AND COMPANIES ADVANCEMENT. THIS ALSO MEANS I CAN USE IT FOR MYSELF AS WELL. I AM THE PRESIDENT/SPOKESMAN FOR THE TOPMA. AND SINCE I OWN HOT ROD'S MOTORSPORTS, THATMAKES ME IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER TIED IN TO THE "TOPMA" NOW NEXT YEAR IF THERE IS TO BE A NEW SPOKESPERSON FOR US THAN THAT WILL BE DECIDED AT MY ANNUAL PROMOD MEETING IN DECEMBER. UNTIL THEN LIKE IT OR NOT I'M STILL HERE!! OH, BY THE WAY I DO SHOW UP AT ALL THE PRMOD SHOWS AS I CAN. I HAVE MISSED A FEW DO TO MY COMPANY NEEDS. I ALSO ANSWER AS MANY QUESTIONS AS I CAN. AND WILL ALWAYS TRY TO DO SO. IT ALSO SEEMS MOST EVERYONE ALWAYS HAS THE ABILITY TO BASH BUT NEVER OFFER GOOD SOUND IDEAS TO HELP US IMPROVE ON OUR ASSOCIATION.. I INTEND ON CONTINUING TO KEEP THE "TOPMA" TOGETHER AND STRONG. GRANT, THANKS FOR WATCHING MY BACH SIDE WHILE I WAS LOOKING THE OTHERWAY!!

As part of the Southern Outlaw ProMod Association I will say this. We havent had the chance to come run with TOPMA, not that we dont want to but it just hasnt played out right for us to make the haul out there. I have on more than one occasion spoke with HotRod and I have browsed this board for quite some time now trying to keep up with whats going on with your group of racers. HotRod isnt here for Money he isnt here to be a "Big Shot" he is here to make a great place for Outlaw ProMods to come race. Anytime I need info from him I get it! May I remind all of you what kind of Leader you used to have? Not to slamm no one but I think you or we are all in better hands with this man so keep in mind all he does for you, cause he dont have to do it. We would love to have him down south here, and you should all be thankfull to have him here wether you agree with him or not.

Well Grant why do you think that just because I was speaking my mind - why is that TRASHING Hot Rod & why does that suppose to mean that I don't like Hot Rod?? I'm just speaking my mind -- just like you do so often on here and everywhere else. When you were on the North Texas board & this board talking crap about Edwards & his car does that mean that you dislike him? I don't know & don't care if you like him or not, point is you were speaking your mind. I've been told by a track manager that he tried calling Hot Rod all week before his weekend show with no response and as far as this message board the last post Hot Rod made was on 8/24 & since then TBH has been answering all questions. Now as far as who I am, come on over to the Baldobino trailer Friday night and I'll be more that glad to meet you.

Sealy set this payout 3 years ago when they had their first show. It meets the minimum total payout for a two day show but we have heard that there are several people that are not coming because of the low payout down bottom.

The only bad thing about the payout down bottom is if you are from out of town and happen to go out first or second round, with hotel and travel expenses, you are in the red.

Mrs. TBH thats the reason we arent making the trip 8 or 9 hours is way far to run for that kind of money down on the low side of the ladder. Not to insult the folks at Sealy but we just cant make the trip for that, and god forbid we have problems in RD1 we go home with basically nothing. I feel this race would see alot more cars if the first rd looser was up around 4 or 5 hundred. www.stroudracing.com check it out and feel frre to use our message board anytime.

[> Clarification -- Grant, 07:34:02 10/11/01 Thu

Hey H.T.,
I am looking for some gear sets but they need to be coarse spline. Several different combinations will work for me.
I am looking for 1.41 or 1.38 and 1.28 or 1.25
From what you wrote it looks like you have a 2.72 low gear It is calculated by multiplying each gear set together.
If you have a 1.44, 1.44 and 1.31 you would have the following low gear: 1.44 X 1.44 X 1.31 = 2.72.
If I can't find the gear sets I need I will be buying another lenco ans selling the one I have currently. It sounds like you need the Lenco that I have. It is a 2.47 low gear with 1.44, 1.31 and 1.31 gear sets. I will let you know if I plan on selling it.

To the "Racer" who wants the 8 second burn down proof. -- Grant Hensley, 07:13:48 10/10/01 Wed

I wasn't at Abilene so I didn't see what actually happened but I do know the rules. The rule is not 8 seconds, it is actually 7 seconds.

I will be more than happy to show you the rule about staging procedures. Please go get your handy IHRA 2001 RULE BOOK. Go to the General Regulations section and turn to page 134. About half way down the page is a section entitled STAGING SYSTEM: (It is in bold print so it shouldn't be too hard to find). Please read this section. It discusses the Auto start system and states that in the Pro Mod class the second car has 7 seconds to stage once the first car has staged. If the second car fails to stage within 7 seconds, it is given a red light I know that Abilene wasn't using an Auto start system but the 7 second rule should still apply. The rule is there for a reason and should be enforced with or without the Auto start system.

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask! I'll do my best to show you the way.

Abilene Race -- Tom Dupree, 20:18:42 10/08/01 Mon

I would like to thank all you guys for making our show a great success. We know that we can always count on the TOPMA guys for a wild crowd pleasing show. Whether or not we have a permanent track next year, I will be looking to you guys for my big show. I agree that Frankie had to sit there a long time. The starter told me he was about to red light his opponent when the mishap occured. Unfortunately that did not happen. I was told that his opponent had an electrical problem with his trans-brake and was having to flat foot the car in to the lights. What ever the case, I am sorry for Frankie that it turned out that way. I am sure his opponent would have rather had a good race instead of the way it turned out.

Once again I would like to thank all you guys that came to Abilene and put on one hell of a show!!!!

P.S. I will try to have race results and E.T.'s very soon!

Abilene Racetrack -- fan, 23:56:28 10/07/01 Sun

Abilene race track needs to watch the starting line. I thought allowing someone burn down another car is wrong. you get 8 seconds then red lighted. Frankie Taylor was getting burned down hard while the other car wasn't even trying to move in the sec. beam. unfortualy someone needs to start watching to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I have to agree with the comments made about Frankie being burned down. I was there and Frankie was burned down!!. Tempers will flare when racing rules are not followed by all racers. Why was'nt the other guy disqualified or given the red light???? He was scared because he knew that he did not stand a chance running Frankie!!!! Better luck next time Frankie. ajf

[> BURN DOWN -- RACER, 20:48:33 10/09/01 Tue

I didnt see it that way . I see a car staging very slow
because the lights were very close . he was moving into
the lights when the starter had his starter box jurked out
of his hand . in my book this was uncalled for. both cars
were blowen cars . both started at the same time . so the
other car was just as hot . thier no reason to act that way. and where do you get 8 sec and your red . show this to me? I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS RULE!
we should act like pros / not babies

I think Racer needs to stop and think about what he's saying. If you are in a car ready to race you expect to race not play little kiddy games. If a person won't get in the beams the other driver should get the win. You do have a time limit to get in the beams and if you don't you get the red light. It's just the way it goes. I was there, the other car didn't even attempt to stage it. If you don't have the guts to get up there, stage your car and run it down the track without trying to screw over the other driver then you should stay in the pits.

Don't want to get in somebody's discussion...but we did run 4.50's at 159.09 on 1 carb,615 mtr,and plate system 300 shot, and powerglide.I'm not saying its a record or care if its a record. But if the fan is happy with the run then so are we!

This so called street car motor was a 655 (not 565, maybe you transposed the numbers or your simply lying as usual). It also had a fogger system and a plate system (not just a plate). Who can prove he wasn't running two systems (No one can or does believe you). It also had a Lenco (not a powerglide).

Great job John Conley considering the combination your working with. Congratulations.

As for Pat Edwards, with the combination he was running, he should have been well into the 4.30's.

Hell Pat, someone has to try to keep you honest (although it appears to be impossible)!

I meant to stop by and say hello at Kennedale last week but everytime I passed by you looked busy so I didn't bother you. I will stop by and say hello this weekend at Shreveport. Good luck racing. I will be spectating (something that I have become very accustom to doing this year!).

every race that I've been to that taylor racing was there there would be wolf working on frankie's car and wearing a Taylor racing shirt.so with this evidence before us we would have to conclude that Wolf is legit!! So whoever doesn't believe..hell..don't believe.

Thank You. I don't know how all of this got started but it's really stupid. Wolf is a member of Taylor Racing and he has been forever. I know for a fact he wasn't at Homecoming but that he had personal business that needed to be taken care of. Whoever is writing this stuff don't be a chicken and hide behind your little screen name tell us who you are. Oh and by the way... MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!

All I have to say about Frankie is that if you can beat him you're pretty damn good. I don't think there is a person out there that Frankie can't out run. He is by far my favorite racer, and by far ONE of the best. If you can get on here and talk crap about him then you better be able to out run him. That's all I got to say!!!
