Hi Cliff,

I must be honest and say I do not recall your name, but I may have joined just after or just before yourself.

My number was 1157780 and I joined at the Royal Military Academy in Woolwich and a short time later moved to Cambridge Barracks. I am so damned old I am sorry to say I cannot remember which troop I was with.

My permanent NCO was Sgt. McAdam. If you knew him you would not forget him as he was 18stone 6lbs.

I joined Boys Battery in June or July 1946 until I mustered out in 1948.
