My 11 week old Gizmo

I got my flying squirrel at 6weeks and my husband and I are very close to him. He is very active and is starting to act bored. I give him various nuts,apples,oranges,and dietary mix for food. We take him out of his cage when we come home and let him run around the couch. Any suggestions on different things that are good for him to eat or toys he might enjoy?
