Your local Petco should have L&M Animal Farms Daily Liquid Multivitamin available, often in the hamster/gerbil 'bottle', but also in the 'rabbit' bottle or the 'ferret' bottle. The formula is the same, regardless of the label. Only the dosage changes. For a 'mouse' size critter, the recommended dose is one drop per ounce or two of water. Here's a link to the Petco online page featuring this product:

Where mushrooms are concerned, I usually by baby portobellos, but have also offered dried shiitake mushrooms, which I buy at Costco.

We'll look forward to seeing you at NFSA's messageboard, and you might also be interested in visiting, and corresponding with, the other Voy.com boards for flying squirrels, both which seem to have more activity, and definitely have active administrators. They are:
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.voy.com/55490/">For Flyers Only</a>, administered by Dennis Q., of Ohio, a well respected and knowledgeable flyer breeder, and:
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.voy.com/81231/">Flying Squirrel Fancier</a>, administered by yours truly (that would be me ... lol!)

>>Thanks Beverly, just 2 questions. Will petco have
>the D3? What variety of mushrooms do you use? I will
>sigh on to NFSA.
