My Grandma made it from leftover biscuits, milk, eggs, lots of sugar, raisins and maybe butter (I don't know about the butter). I don't have a clue as to the measure of ingredients nor how long it cooked but the end result was a moist, rich, sweet treat that cut be cut in squares. The recipes I've found and tried over the years have tasted like baked eggs....Thanks for the replies, Beth. (I checked USADeepSouth recipes at length and did not find a recipe to try.)

Merry Christmas
