THE OTHER BOWL GAME: A seasonal short story

'Tis the season to be jolly, and watch football games, especially college bowl games. Every year more of them appear on our screens. With the media talent pool stretched thin, two seldom used TV sportscasters were given the assignment of covering the newest, least important, most obscure bowl game.

What follows is a report on the opening minutes of that memorable broadcast. It first appeared in USADS, oh, let's just say some time ago. Those hardy readers from days of yore survived the experience, we think. Now here's your chance to share in the experience.
