Subject: Hi katia! I haven't read the books, but from the little crumbs of news we get to hear (the cast, the info about the director of photography -- thanks Angeleno!), Peter Weir's involvement -- who I think is a really fabulous director, I think we are really in for a treat! I had no idea that the Aubrey/Maturin series had such devoted readership. I am sorely tempted to order one or two and start reading, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if I want any spoilers before I see the film.
