  • Kathy, ITA with your reasoning. I doubt that Pretenders fans would dismiss the opening act. They would come, if nothing else, out of curiosity, "let's see if that guy from the Gladiator can really rock!".     • On the other hand, I think that lots people who will go to the combined Grunts/Tofog gigs, may not be die-hard fans of either band, they're just hoping for a night of a rockin' good time and they will most probably go home happy, and that's the point of it all.   • I don't think Russell will be happy with being an opening act - not even a co-headliner. I believe Pretender fans will enjoy Tofog the same way one enjoys opening acts: you see them, you forget them. They'll pick up new fans...perhaps. But do they have to dismiss the old ones in the process? Or they just *know* the old ones will stick along no matter what?   • Yeah Jody you are correct.. and then there is the PRICE of tickets.. I hear Austin is like $30 US and Nashville nearly $50 US and we dont know if that is for a full TOFOG show or an abreviated one.. (i.e. 45 minute set) Its a lotta money to blow.
