Russell abandoning movie-making is something unthinkable. However, and big however, maybe they have noticed that Tripoli and Cinderella Man start filming way late into 2003 and beginning 2004, and hence the "year" reference. After all, it is true that with Jack Aubrey he'll simply be promoting (apart from breaking our hearts at every smile, lol). At any rate, it is a twist of the truth.
