OK.. A SERIOUS REQUEST RE MAX CROWE... PLEASE READ... I WAS THINKING-->>

I got to thinking about how much it costs to run this site... time and money. I could not do it and work too...lol they have to pay for the web space, the mags, the domain name etc and they must have NO LIFE but work and the web site...

I think we can help. I remember when Murph had to ask for $$$ as she was up against it. Max Crowe has not done that but... I wonder if its not the same for them.

We can help in two ways.

1) If you see a mag with darling RC in it (or whatever) and you can swing for two, pick up an extra and send it to Max Crowe. That saves a wee bit.

2) If we are going to buy stuff from Amazon (.co.uk etc or .com) or Blackstar or Video flicks.. even NON RUSSELL STUFF... and we click through the Max Crowe site.. they get a little something. We pay the same and Max Crowe gets a little help. With Xmas coming this could be good for them.

THis is the #1 grand daddy site to my mind and I want to be sure it sticks around. They get nothing from the man and its all their volunteer time etc. Lets help em out when and how we can!

ITA Chindi. Max Crowe girls are a class of their own and I feel we owe them a great deal. I'll try to do my best to give something back, since I also saw the Grunts in Melbourne thanks to the info posted on their site. I sent them a thankyou note later and got a very kind response. They were genuinely happy that through amazing coincidence, a bit of dumb luck and their help we got to see the band. I can only hope that the rough times are behind them, whatever they were.
