Subject: Gear Shifter cover

Hi I'm just finishing a restoration on a Mk 2 chopper, and was hoping someone could provide a photo showing how the gear shifter cover is secured. I'm guessing I'm missing a bit which allows the cover to be attached to where the shifter body bolts to the frame.
Also looking for a rear mudguard, the one I have is heavily pitted and despite being rechromed still looks a bit shonky.
