Hi, If the number is on the seatpost that would make it late 1972 or after. It should start with N (for Nottingham factory) then another letter denoting the Month, then a year letter, then 5 or 6 more numbers which is the serial number for that month and year. If you can get the whole number, or even just the letter and numner after the N I'll get back to you with the date.
