Subject: From what I heard, the T-5 should bolt right up. The crossmember will have to be slightly modified to fit the new tranny, but shouldn't be a real big problem.

ok i have a 88 ford thunderbird with the a4ld transmission i wanted to change that to a t5 trans i was woundering if i would need to cut a bigger hole in the floor and how much bigger i heard the cars from going to the aod to a t5 you need to cut off a half inch in front i was woundering if it the same for this car that was in a mustang tho
