Subject: struts to frame 77 mustang giha

I am wondering if the bushings are available for the
part on the frame where the strut bolts into the frame.
Does anyone know the name of the part where this strut
bolts into? It has three bolts, and bolts to the frame
right under the firewall.

Thanks

Jim

Jim,
Email me and I will tell you a few places that carry
the bushings for the strut rods. The piece your talking
about is basicly part on the Frame/Transmission Mount.
If your getting a load noise on braking you may need to
check to mount after removing the bushings. there is a
round piece welded to the mount under the bushings.
I broke the right side on my 1977 and had to get one from
a junk yard. The bushings are easy to replace but I don't
think they are a part that wears out as easy as say control
arm bushings.
