thanks for the confirmation ... maybe it was done as a device to make the track unique or stand out.

i have found myself taking to the ripped track for my mp3 player with soundforge, and fading it out.

some may see this as painting a moustache on the mona lisa ... but i like to think of it as artist/listener interaction!
