It's so wrong what her parents did. I understand that they had a bad, actually awful experience but what about trying to save another little girl’s life? Duke may not have even been the recipient to the organs; they would have gone to a few donors, which are probably in different areas. What angers me even more is the fact that the whole family paid someone to smuggle them into our country. That scares me and secondly, it shows that our health system is as good as it gets. Socialized medicine or national healthcare is NOT the way to go, otherwise the doctors in our country will not have any incentives to do "any better" than the status quoi!

I am sorry that the girl died but not giving up the liver and especially the corneas is terrible!
