The most obvious changes in the past few years have been the inclusion of Barry and The Champ, moving Seth from Saturdays to Sundays, bringing in Dan Klein, which moved the Delaneys; i.e., the weekend lineup.
Look, radio, unless you're PBS, is about money and who can bring it in in the way of advertisers. Barry and The Champ have done that superbly - whether or not you like their show (I do), they have aggressively brought in a lot of new advertising dollars to the station. Same goes for Seth. He's brought in new, fresh advertisers. And I think Dan Klein's show is a much needed local entertainment wrap-up (though I have to say, I wish he'd ease off the sports, there's enough sports coverage). His show is giving exposure to a lot of local events that might otherwise be overlooked.
I don't know about the one-topic shows (food, car maintenance, real estate) because I tend not to listen to them as faithfully, and I'm more of a day listener than an evening listener. But I think the Don-Barbara-Jeff-Dan-Barry&Champ-Seth lineup is working very well for them. And whatever Mr. Taylor's motives may have been, he's provided a good, solid line-up of LOCAL talent, which is rare in NJ radio.

No ratings, poor record. Change is on the way.

The variety of intresting National programs! Kim Komando,Art Bell,Matt Drudge-ALL added after TAYLOR came on board.

The ART BELL was a particularily risky move that in my opinion, was worked-out in the most diplomatic way possible. Dropping the Larry King,repeat/simulcast and moving JIMBO ever so slighly, while dropping the repeeat of JIMBO. Them putting ART/COAST To COAST/DREAMLAND-(A true sceduling masterpeice).
