YES-it already happened. FONDA was on the list of "100 women of the century",and it actually is a book. Lot's of controversy/complaints from '99,when HANOI JANE was named to the list. Here's a GOOGLE link for more info.click here

A POW from The Vietnam War called Barbara to relate an eyewitness account of seeing Fonda dancing with communists and holding a sign that said "Yankee go home". The caller was being held prisoner in a POW camp at the time.Barbara thanked the man for calling,and she also thanked him for his service to our country.

the first time around? Well,I think that this story just got pushed aside cause of all of the WHY-TWO-k (Y2K) stuff that was going on in the Fall of '99.

I wonder if Barbara just recieved this email or is she just getting around to opening her mail??????? (ha ha just kidding-but,maybe BARBARA should award herself a copy of "The Procrastinator's Handbook",a prize from last week's show)

I was trying to email Barbara a link to this page,but my email is acting goofy (as usual), but,Barbara said that she will be researching this item in depth so she'll probably report her findings tomorrow maybe?

An interesting story,even though there is more to it than what we heard today on THE FRONT PORCH.-can't wait to hear the rest of the story!
