I heard this conversation, and I think that Tony's decision stems from two issues: One: Tony has mentioned before that he doesn't like Jeff doing guest interviews so frequently. I don't think that Jeff interviews guests more than other hosts, however since Jeff only has an hour show, that interview takes up the entire show and sometimes it is a little frustrating. I think the solution would be for Jeff to have more time, at least 2 hrs.
Two: I got a sense that Tony wanted to give his opinion on the Atlantic City mayor's state of the city address, and Jeff had another topic that day. I do think a lot of time is given to Atlantic City, Atlantic County issues, but I also think that the speech was fair game, since apparently it was something that aired on the radio. However, it may have been some sort of WOND policy to limit discussion since it did not air on their station? Don't know. Were transcripts of this speech made available? If not, unless Jeff got to hear it, he may not have been able to discuss it.

RUJANE, YOU ARE RIGHT . JEFF ONLY HAS A 45 MINUTE SHOW AND PEOPLE LISTEN TO TALK RADIO TO HEAR OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR OPINIONS. WHEN A GUEST COMES ON A LOT OF PEOPLE TUNE OUT.IF JEFF HAD A 3 OR4 HOUR SHOW A FIFTEEN MINUTE GUEST SPOT WOULD BE O K .

If something (local) earth-shaking happens,JEFF has a report about it right away,same with PINKY.The Delaney's is one show,for example, that has some really great guests, with a big variety of subjects.
I think that some people would like to hear more TALK about LOCAL POLITICS???????
