MIKE- why don't you give it a chance? I have to admit that I am surprized that WKXW took almost the entire line-up from ESPN when they could actually "pick & choose" certain programs.

Maybe they just wanted to be able to use the ESPN "branding/logos" as one good reason?

MILLENNIUM is now airing MORE TALK RADIO. And I find that SPORTS RADIO,much like the SPORTS pages of a newspaper,maybe even more so, does a LOT more than just TALK about sports. MIKE-listen to the TONY KORNHEISER show one time ok-and let me know what you think.????????

ESPN has a great website (www.espnradio.com),that is linked to the ESPN website which is THE ultimate collection of sports history and info. on the www.

It's a natural tie-in for LOCAL franchises like the BULLIES. Maybe SURF baseball?????

And finally,I have noticed that ESPN Radio SOUNDS GREAT on 1450! NJ 101.5 SOUNDS GREAT too on FM from where I am listening (downbeach).....One more thing, for years,we had a choice of RUSH,or Dr.LAURA for 3 hours all day. It was a little depressing in my opinion. RUSH has his great days, BUT there has to be an alternative in TALK RADIO.

C,mon MIKE-give it a TRY???

I am not saying this because I don't like it... I think Eric Johnson has done a good job with the line-up...

I say it because the format has failed twice in this market already...
