Linwood had power outages. I imagine the WOND staff came in and stayed on because they could not know when they would be on the air, and wanted to be prepared. I have to say that, considering the nature of the emergency, the jumping to conclusions and the mean-spirited comments I heard some people make when the came on the air with Barbara Altman, were really uncalled for.
