Subject: Amber Alerts

I noticed that there are two active Amber Alerts (national). Click on the yellow line on my news ticker page for more info. (click here)....both active alerts are not local, but one of the kidnappers is reported to possibly be headed towards NYC. Both alerts look like the victims are in serious harm's way. (not "domestic"-family problems)-aka-"stranger-or real bad guy, abduction"???. When the local alert went off recently, people were advised to call 911 if they had any information to report. I would think that that would be a good idea in any Amber alert situation even if it is a national alert????
