A reporter on the campaign trail did a "running with the candidates" piece. She said running with Gore was like meditating, except you were moving forward very slowly. She said running with Bush was real work. He is in his mid-50s; he runs several miles and can still run a mile under 7:30. That's a pretty good clip for someone who isn't a professional athlete.
