i have a rare condition called ehlers danlos syndrome (a rare illness that causes lost of dislocations and subluxations.)
anyway because of this many things have been tried...the best one i found was they put a screw in the knee (operation) that hold the patella in place...in my case didnt solve the problem but it did help a bit (for a little while)
