Times

I think before we go on this website making unfair acussations we should use common sense. Please do not forget the entire world could open this website and think we are not an united federation. That is not true at all.
BSF has agreed to use the A cut times across the board for females and males for PAN AM Games as the standard for our swimmers to go to that meet. The truth is the national standards times for females and males that our federation set up previously are higher than those required for PAN AM Games. Check time standars in this website and you will see it is true. BSF lower the standard to PAN AM A cut qualifiying times so more swimmers could go and get more international exposure.
A swimmer at this level at least should made the A cut so it could represent this country at the highest level.
Mediocrity should never be our International standard.
Male and females swimmers should understand that work and perseverance always pay off.
At least that is the standard I have for my kids even with school work.
The girl times from earlier age are always harder to go to International meets like Plantation,even for our own Nationals( check 8 and under and 9-10 times qualifying times for nationals in this website) because they develop earlier than the boys. At a later age the boys are stronger and faster that is why their times are harder. Check any international website by age group and you will see it is a fact.
The best to all our swimmers. Let them be the reason for the season.
