It seems to me that we have a male or male swimmers that only want to whine and encourage others to follow in their quest for mediocrity. The BSF did not set the Pan AM time standards. These are set by ASUA - the governing body for CCCAN. This then means that HOW COULD THE BSF BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TIME STANDARDS THAT ARE TOO FAST OR TOO SLOW? These are the standards male and female swimmers are being asked to make IF they want to compete in the Pan Am Games. Instead of whining about the time standards, why not jump in the pool and try to catch up with male swimmers all over the Pan Am Area. If you put half that energy into your training, you might just be able to qualify. If you continue to whine and moan about time standards that are being required of EVERY male and female swimmer in the Pan AM Area, you are focusing on something you can't change. To try and bring the BSF executives and/or the male swimmer that has put in the hard work to qualify for the Pan Am Games is not demonstrating true sportsmanship.
