|Subject: According to what I've read only 1 in 20 high school students will get any athletic scholarship money at all, and far fewer than that will get any significant money. I've seen a lot of very disappointed sports parents over the years. Much wiser to focus on academics and then pursue whatever is your passion, whether that is a varsity sport or ID. While there are a few who can pull off a 4.0+ GPA while being a top OC dancer and a top varsity athlete, there are not many from what I have seen.|
