Subject: Many people know their competitors' results these days as kids use social media to share them. Everybody in dd's dance class knows who has the required firsts and who doesn't. In the case that you reference, it was the unqualified girls themselves who spread the word that they didn't have the firsts but were still doing NANS. They did not all quit within a few short months as you state. At least two continued to compete at the O and NANS for years.

In reply to: not anything you can do 's message, "Not defending this; however, the TC is at liberty to enter the dancer. The OP may not know ALL the facts and is only going by hearsay and it could be a proper entry. OP leaves out the age, too, which can also be a factor. Wouldn't chastise, because dancing at the O's doesn't change the level" on 21:09:26 09/14/17 Thu
