Subject: I'm still concerned. How is it fair if some regions have to cancel their Os and others have them as qualifiers? Then the regions that couldn't manage it, due to virus levels or whatever, end up with only their 2019 WQs entered in the next Worlds whereas the more fortunate regions that were able to hold theirs will have both 2019 and 2020 WQs at the next Worlds?

This pandemic really stinks on so many levels. but I say, if a kid can go to an O - let it be a qualifier. And it seems CLRG is on the same page with that.

If my kid is locked out because of conservative management of the pandemic by the NE-so be it. I won't necessarily agree with it (unless numbers start trending dangerously up) but I'll live with it.

It will be hard to explain to her the reason others got to go to their O, but we all deal with these parenting challenges as they come our way... and have probably gotten better at managing them with so many recent disappointments. :(

Not fair - but none of this is, really.

hardly any restrictions on size of event= more lenient when it comes to numbers because they use capacity rather than a hard and fast number as other NE states do.

Maybe NH is a better choice because they don't have an active "red list"as other NE states do.

no one is going to run an event in NH without meeting capacity requirements or without putting significant covid-19 precautions in place. if those precautions are put in place, there is an excellent chance that a safe event can be run.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Author % is exactly right. OF COURSE NH or anywhere O is run will be keeping safety precautions at the forefront.- just like Florida, CO, and other states have been doing. We are seeing other regions planning SAFE OIreachta - Mid A also changing states since covid lockdowns in IL are similar to those in MA/CT. it makes sense for NH to host
