To our feis registrants: We are aware of the new Massachusetts travel restrictions and continue to monitor the changing Covid climate. At this point as the NH guidelines remain unchanged, we are continuing to plan our Winter Feis. We understand there may be some registered families that are unable to abide by their state's travel restriction. If that is the case please email us at murrayirishcr@yahoo.com by Friday, November 27 to delete your registration and request a refund. As things evolve, we will continue to review our plans and stay in touch via this FB page. At this time we will not be accepting new dancer registrations.

You could be right, though- worth investigating for CT residents.

[> Subject: Not sure what to do. So this means that if we go to NH for three hours for the Feis we have to quarantine for 14 days? It is not really possible to test out under these circumstances since we would only be in the state a few hours.

If you have to quarantine the timing is perfect. No-one is traveling for Christmas.

You are aware there is a global pandemic going on yes? Literally hundreds of thousands of American citizens dead, many of them as a result of people thinking "let's just have an event anyway". This is so dangerously irresponsible folks. Advertising it as "Covid Safe" means nothing. Nowhere is Covid Safe right now, except of course for any place with no people. . Numbers are escalating by the hour right now. It is terrifying that anyone in a position to dictate the terms regarding when and where a Winter 2020 Feis would happen is so bereft of sanity. It forces us to ask ourselves "are these people really that stupid?" And be glad for that, because if you are not stupid then you are something much, much worse.Happy Thanksgiving everyone

[> [> Subject: I mostly disagree. I think their guidelines look sound. I would like to see them mandate that the dancers keep their masks on at all times. Right now they are allow to remove them to dance and this needs to change.
